First day alone :)

So today my dad left :(. I called a cab (in Spanish) and got him to the airport though, so that was good! He made it home so I'm thankful! We went to church this morning to a Spanish speaking church. That was a little crazy. My brain was hurting after that. I could only understand a little bit because the preacher was talking so fast! It was fun though. The rest of the day, Kate and I explored and took some pictures, made some beans and rice, cleaned our floor (which was giving us black feet), and made lesson plans. We also talked to our neighbors Carlos and Clara. They hardly speak any English, so it was good practice for us :). One cute thing that happened today was that I was in the grocery store and walked past a lady with a baby. The baby made kissing noises at me, so I turned around. The mom said, "Quiere dar una besa." Which means "He wants to give you a kiss." I laughed and was like okay. So me and this random baby kissed in the grocery store. LOL what in the world? Would you let your baby kiss some random stranger? It was great. Anyway, that is all for now. Teacher orientation starts early tomorrow. :)

Wow, crazy video about locking and unlocking. Is good you have those safety measures and a saviour that will keep you safe.
Once school starts I am sure your time will go flying by and you won't have enough. Let us know if you need anything shipped, school supplies, flyers, etc. You are truly a blessing to HIM and us.
In Christ,
Tim Carr

Hello, this is Tricia's Dad, Bill. I have been reading and taking offense to Tricia's comments about my inability to speak the Spanish language. Therefore, I'll will be writing all of my messages to her in Spanish, which I have mastered in my five short days in Costa Rica. So Miss Tricia Lee, how do you like those apples?
And while you're chewing on those apples, try this one also, Sir, can I have a box to take home my pizza, please? Ha Ha!
If I cused by mistake in this message it's because of my baseball background so forgive me!
Love Bill "Dad" Wegmano

Forgive me, my Spanish is really coming along, but my English stinks: In my last message I said, "cused" (I don't believe this is a word); what I meant to say is, if I said (in my new found ability to speak in tongues--the Spanish one) a bad word on accident, forgive me.
And anyway, it's not my fault, the guys on my former baseball teams only taught me the "curse" words -- whatever! LOL
