Monday...
So this will be short because Monday's are so tiring! Just a few things...today was good. Only one child screaming for a short period of time, so that was good. Praise Jesus. They are definitely doing better! Secondly, we went to a single girls' Bible study tonight, which was great. It was so good to get out of the house and have some communication with other girls in the same position we are in. What was funny was that on the way home, we were in a taxi discussing many things about the meeting...including some personal things...thinking the taxi driver didn't understand. Well, he said something in English and I asked, "entiendes mucho Ingles?" which means, "do you understand much English?" And he said "Si." uh oh. lol we were rolling. He said, "when you get in taxi, make sure driver no speak English!" funny. And finally, I am the basketball coach at my school! I am excited, I think it will be a good outlet and it will be fun to work with the older students! yay :)

Dear Tricia,
Glad that this week has started better! I printed out your class picture so that Roger and I can visualize the little lives you are INVESTING in and we are praying for! Cute bunch --- just trying to pick out the right ones to go along with your comments! ha!
Would it help you to know that I, too, put up with a screamer several times during each working day?!?!? ugh! :-< All I have to do is say NO to 20-month-old Sean and he proceeds to scream and throw himself onto the floor...other than that he's such a sweet, lovable little guy!
I cracked up to see that you found a busty bronze to have your picture taken with ... I grin every time I log onto your blog. I would have loved being there to witness the legendary meat buying!!! :~)
God's timing always AMAZES me --- you were at a gal's Bible study Monday night and so was I at iMPACT...I brought you up during prayer request time!!! And I encouraged all the gals to check out your blogs --- puts reality in front of us so we are reminded to keep you lifted before the Throne.
So proud of you ...listening to God and being Jesus to those young ones so far from your comfort zone! My grandma always said, "Another star in your crown",when she saw someone doing what surely pleased God; so dear Tricia, "Another star in your crown"!
We love you and miss you but the blog and those pics make it seem like you are not sooooo far away! Good night, COACH! :~) hugs, R+M
Betty and I have no daughters but if we did, we would hope that she would be like you! Your faith and servant attitude and sense of humor blesses us so much. We love you and enjoy this blog.
God be with you,
Love Frank & Betty Shaut
I am so happy to hear that things are starting to settle down at school. The kids are really cute. I am so thankful you have this forum to keep us all informed as whats going on in your life. It's a wonderful way for us to more effectivly pray for you. I love and miss you. Keep up the great work that God has placed before you.
From your Mommy who misses you something fierce!
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy viewing your blog each night and praising Jesus that things are going better.
Dad said that the butterfly in your picture (the orange one) is called the Orange Julia (Dryas Julia) and is native to Costa Rica--your dad is now a butterflyologist as well as fluent in Espanol!
Keep your eyes on the Prize!
Love Mom & Dad
